Therapeutic approaches and flexible online care
Paige uses person centred therapy as a foundation, offering a warm, client-led approach that encourages people to explore their feelings and identify what they want to change. This method supports issues like anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and parenting concerns by focusing on the person’s own strengths and goals. EMDR is another approach she is trained in - it is a targeted, structured method often used to address the lingering impact of trauma and distressing memories, helping people process past events in a paced way. She also integrates psychosexual therapy and coaching techniques when relevant to address relationship, intimacy, and life-direction concerns in a practical, skills-based manner.
Finding the right approach is part of the therapeutic process. Paige works collaboratively with each person to tailor methods to their needs, goals, and preferences, reviewing progress and adapting the plan as therapy evolves. This means the choice of techniques is guided by the client’s experience and what works best for them.
Online therapy options - including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, and text-based messaging - provide greater flexibility for scheduling and for fitting therapy into busy lives. These formats make it easier for people to access registered professionals from different locations, continue work between sessions, and choose the mode of communication that feels most comfortable for them.
