Therapeutic Approaches and Online Support
Calee works from person-centred and cognitive behavioural perspectives. Client-Centred Therapy focuses on listening without judgement and supporting people to explore their feelings and values at their own pace - it can help with low self-esteem, identity questions and navigating relationship and life changes. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) uses practical tools to identify and shift unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns - it is often used for anxiety, panic, depression and stress-related concerns. Existential ideas are also woven into her work, offering space to explore meaning, purpose and the challenges of major life transitions.Choosing the right approach is part of the therapy process. Calee collaborates with each person to identify goals, try different techniques and find what fits best with their needs and preferences, adjusting direction as the work unfolds.
Online therapy options include video calls, phone sessions, live chat and text-based messaging, which make it easier to access support around work, caregiving or mobility constraints. These formats offer flexibility in scheduling, allow people to receive care from home or other familiar environments and can make it simpler to maintain continuity of support across locations with registered professionals and therapists.
